Welcome to the new site

Welcome to the new site kids.  For my first entry, I think I will go with a little free form prose to sort of set the mood.  I will, most likely, say many things that will sound ridiculous and not be funny.  However, keep in mind that I can in now way guarantee you will enjoy what I write.  In fact, I will make absolutely no such claim.  That is all.
